Questions do not need to be complex. Speak as if you were talking with your best friend. Ask common sense questions. Share a personal story. Show that you are listening to their answers.

Find out what matters most to the person you are pitching. If you haven’t found the ‘hot button’ for the person listening, then you are better off talking to the wall.
