The Ford Taurus 2010 has an appealing newer look with sleaker, more athletic looks, the redesign with little changes is much more pleasing to the eyes. The most visible modifications of the new Taurus, are the higher sidelines on the body and a sleeker roof line and the overall car is about two inches wider. Lowering the roof, raising the beltline, and loading the wheel wells with a choice of seventeen-, eighteen-, and nineteen-inch wheels. Makes this Ford Taurus an unbelievable match-up for the competition.Even with the new Ford Taurus sitting just over an inch lower than last year, it still is 61 inches tall and is 76” wide. With that being said, this new Taurus is a beast when put up against BMW’s M5 Series or even the 300C by Chrysler.
The SHO model of the Ford Taurus has a very identifiable look while giving you much more bang for your buck, if you know what I mean. Only the C-pillars and deck lid are labeled with the SHO mark of perfection, also the LEDs in the front bumper have silver trim instead of the black ones which are promoted on the lesser models. A combination of chrome tailpipes, spoiler on the trunk, and a more appealing front grille take care of the exterior makeup. From the outside to the inside the SHO Taurus is even more alert.
Your basic Taurus comes with more legendary faux-wood and synthetic trim, while the upgraded model gets a unique cast, glossy black dash trim, and more metallic features inside and out. With gorgeos power bucket seats that enhance great comfort and power to the owner, not to mention how roomy the interior is, with an unbelievable amount of head space. Keeping up the trend setting Ford Taurus is just one of multiple reasons change is here to stay.
